You should expect the following categories of content to continue being filled out over the game’s development: We’re still actively designing, work-shopping ideas, and listening and responding to what the player community is enjoying. We’re not set in stone on the exact scope or breadth of the experience, and have since initial launch on the store already added over a dozen environments that were not originally envisioned. “Hot Dogs, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades will continue to grow through a series of experiments, varying from freeform sandbox to more traditionally structured games. How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version? “Give that we’ve been in Early Access for over 6 years, and are still having a blast adding things, we don’t rightly know right now.” Moreover, as VR is developing at such a rapid pace, we think this is the best time to iterate on a live audience, and get tons of feedback from doing our development and experimentation out in the public.”Īpproximately how long will this game be in Early Access? It’s a sandbox game encompassing many different game modes, mini-games, physical object systems and contexts that are evolving together. And as they continue to add and adjust things it probably is turning into an even better product.“Not every game is a good fit for early access, but we think Hot Dogs, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades is a perfect fit. Tech-wise its pretty sweet, I'll give it that. But its a pretty decisive game so I tend to not speak towards it because the fans of it are hardcore so to each their own. I haven't seen any recommendations that I wouldn't recommend. I joke that VR is pay to win for the game too, because in VR you can carry an object in both hands where in standard mode you couldnt (might be able to by now, but not sure).Įverything else has been covered by others. Made a lot of good changes to the game recently, but if you want to be a ghost hunter alone or with friends this is a great time for a low cost. Phasmophobia - Sure you can play this game without VR, but I never have. Job Simulator - Definitely feels out dated at this point, but had good humor and was a good way for me to get my feed wet in VR, similar to Budget Cuts (I do get very sick with VR at times) Its "not a VR game" but I enjoyed playing it in VR and felt it gave a cool third perspective. Trover Saves the Universe - If you like Rick and Morty style humor it might be for you. Lot of the other games I'd recommend are now "older" when it comes to technology and how they are put together but I'd still consider them fun experiences:īudget Cuts (and its sequel) - Pretty good writing and I found them funny and a fun experience I'm sure I look like an idiot, but you feel like a badass. Sometimes I get to "dancing" while playing. I've legit listened to them on my way to work. Pretty decent customization options too to make the experience whatever youd like. Its John Wick meets rhythm game that is fun for casual play but could probably have a pretty high skill ceiling similar to Beat Saber if you wanted to go nuts with it. While I haven't played the recent free dlc's, the base game is a a blast. Your list is pretty solid, only thing I'd add if you like rhythm games is Pistol Whip.
